Head Start serves the child development needs of preschool children (birth through age five) and their low-income families.  Although it is a Federal Program, it is operated by local non-profit organizations in almost every county in the country. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activites.  They also receive free medical and dental care, have healthy meals and snacks, and enjoy playing indoors and outdoors in a safe setting.

Head Start helps all children succeed. Services are offered to meet the special needs of children with disabilites.

To provide a strong foundation through resources and services for children, families, pregnant women, and staff so they can become self-sufficient, healthy and well-rounded individuals.

Our Schedule

Open 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Monday thru Friday, except for holidays
Children Attend - 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Bus routes begin at 7:00 a.m. each school day.
