Davis-Kenyon-Salter

Located on Church Street in Dawson, this was originally a Victorian style home, with a large porch and decorative columns. It was constructed circa 1900.
In 1935 it was transformed into a Federal style home by removing the large front porch and adding a smaller side porch. The parlor became a paneled library. Two bedrooms were combined to create the formal drawing-room.
In 1972 Dr. and Mrs. Salter purchased the home. The kitchen and formal dining room were combined, side porch was glassed in, and central heat and air were added.
