Farrar-Elmy-Argay

Driving along Seventh Avenue you spot this Queen-Anne style home which was built in 1872. It is rich in decorative features of that style. The bay windows have small geometric colored glass panes running along the edge. The gable is decorated with fish scale siding.
Douglas and Rebecca Elmy began their restoration circa 1985 when they acquired this home. The original tongue-in-groove ceilings have been replace. Fireplaces have been restored. Reproductions of late 1800 wall coverings have been added.
