Hoyl-Chappell-Smith

Driving along Lee Street in Dawson, you'll see this Queen-Anne-Low style home, built circa 1910. The identifying features of this free-classical style include a bay window, tall-thin windows in an one-over-one pattern, roof gable treatment, and tall chimneys.
Wallace and Jo-Ann Smith have restored many of the original features while adding modern human comforts. The original hard-wood floors, tongue-in-grove wainscotting, three sets of French doors, chandeliers, fireplaces with ceramic tile, and bathroom fixtures are in harmony with today's life style.
