Lee-McFarland

Traveling north of Dawson to Parrott, along Old Preston Road, is this Queen Anne Victorian home. Built circa 1900 by A.J. Lee and his sons George and Henry. They were among Parrott's early citizens. The home was built from tree that grew on their land.
The entire front section is essentially the same as when it was constructed. During the 1950s, a rear porch was enclosed and extended for added living space.
This house has been home for five generations of Lees. In 1993 Don and Patty Jo McFarland made it their home and once again it became the focal point of a producting farm.
