Locke-Boyd

Traveling Southeast on Lee Street is where you'll find this home. The Bungalow style home was built circa 1923 by W.H. Dismuke. This home was part of his farm which covered the entire block. The home is a substantial sturcture, being of brick construction. It features pine floors, five fireplaces, French windows, and plaster walls.
Gerald and Linda Boyd acquired the home in 1991 and began restoration. In the process, they discovered, in the kitchen and sunroom, hidden behind sheet rock, some very handsome tongue and groove walls.
