Located on Lee Street, this true style Sourthern farm house was built circa 1895. It was built for practicality and not for show. The porch completely encircled the house. Each room had it's own doorway to the porch. This provided abundant summer ventilation. It also provided the luxury of individualized access to the home for each member of the family.
Walter and Martha Nicholson acquired the home in 1974. Changes were made to bring the home up to today's standard of living while maintaining its country flavor.
