Upshaw-Bridges

Seventh Avenue in Dawson is where you'll find this American-bungalow style home. The home originated in the early 1900s as a two-story house. In 1923 it was rebuilt as two bungalows in the Craftsman style - low simple lines, high beamed ceilings, center hall, fireplaces, and porches.
In 1967 James and Nadine Bridges returned the structure to a single-family home. The center hass was combined with the kitchen, breakfast room, and pantry to create an open living-area for the family. Kitchen and baths were also updated, central air and heat installed, and the front porched was glassed-in.
