Woods-Blake
Located on Sixth Avenue in Dawson, this home was built circa 1905 by Edgar Thomas Woods. The colonial-revival front was added later.
Steve and Jean Highsmith acquired this home in 1975 and began restoration, concentrated on the exterior - new roof and siding.
Don and Ruby Gentry acquired the home in 1987 and continued restoration. They concentarate on the interior - remodeling the kitchen and adding central heat and air.
In 1993, Ron and Vilma Blake acquire the home and began their restoration, concentrating on the woodwork - stripping and refinising.
